Touchscreen Activated!
More progress was made with the LCD from eBay. First, some of the code was optimized which really improved the speed of writing text. That made it possible to see the data from the touch screen. So now that works! The controller is an ADS7843, and I used the bit-banging code that was supplied with it. Nothing fancy really.
The circles and dots appear near where you touch. Still trying to tweak the conversion from the ADC to coordinates, but so far it’s pret-TAY, pret-TAY close.
